So I was really excited about reading this book. These people who are different all coming together at a carnival. Kyra is a dragon/water serpent. Her one true friend Sebastian is mystery. She makes a mistake by saving someone she thinks is a human. It all goes crazy from there.
Ok so I like the last 2% of this story. Almost the whole book I spent going "what the heck", "What is going on". Also I had a hard time trying to imagine what was trying to be explained. It was just very difficult and I felt frustrated and I had to keep going back and reading things.
Once I got to the end though, things started to make sense and I was really interested in the story.
I really had to keep trying to read the story because I wanted to know what was going on. Not because I was sucked in. I am hoping that the next stories will expand more.
