Review
4/5
Lucie has had a hard past few years. Her husband is a scumbag who stole money from so many. Now her town treats her horrible because of it. She is trying to open a wellness center and take care of her kids. Nothing, though seems to be going her way. Then Caleb comes back to town. She reached out for his help, but that's not why he's home. She is facing losing everything again.
I loved Lucie. She is so well rounded and just so real. I understood Caleb but I really didn't like him. I have been in lucie's position with people not liking me for reasons that I couldn't control. So for me it was hard to see the other side when I just wanted to yell at them all. The book is very well written and once I started reading, I couldn't put it down.

Dragonflies at night a book tour

On Tour with Prism Book Tours

Dragonflies at Night:
More Than a Love Story
By Anne Marie Bennett
Women's Fiction, Contemporary Romance
Paperback & ebook, 365 Pages
September 22, 2020 by KaleidoSoul Media

A dragonfly brings a mother’s love to a grieving daughter.

Meet Savannah, the thirty-something owner of Life Celebrations, a party planning business. Despite losing both parents as a teenager, Savannah is creating a positive life for herself, surrounded by friends and co-workers who are now her family. But she also has a secret—as much as she wants to settle down and have children, she is afraid to, for fear of getting cancer and having to leave them without their mother, as she herself was left behind years ago.

Meet Deirdre Rose, Savannah’s mother. She continues to watch over Savannah, who feels deeply connected to her mother whenever she sees a dragonfly.

Now meet Ben, a thirty-something recording artist who is good-looking, talented, and a household name. Despite his fame, Ben is lonely. He trusts few people because it seems everyone wants something from him instead of getting to know who he really is.

Savannah and Ben cross paths when they meet at a yoga retreat in the Massachusetts Berkshires. They are drawn to each other’s creativity and outlook on life. She sees beyond his celebrity and he admires her strength in what she’s had to overcome.

What happens when the retreat ends and they go their separate ways? Will they be able to make a long distance relationship work? Can Savannah put aside her fears, and will Ben allow himself to be truly vulnerable?

Above all . . . what message do Deirdre Rose and Dragonfly have for both of them?

Review
4/5
Savannah has suffered some pain and loss in her life. Now she is finally in a place of happiness. She has her own business and her friends are like her family. She just needed a little break to breath. Her yoga retreat goes from a relaxing time to epic romance before the weekend is over. Ben is a rock star that wants to take a little break before his concert. He is not ready for love or anything serious. Until he meets Savannah.
It's a very sweet story. I can definitely relate to Savannah. She is strong and sweet and just so real. Ben seems like someone who would be happy with simple if he could just write and perform his music. The struggles of keeping a relationship despite the distance is real. They both are scared of giving their heart or losing each other.
I really loved this book. I couldn't put it down. It was such a sweet and beautifully written romance!

Take a breathtaking ride with Bryce and Daria as they find true understanding, try to overcome the bitterness of their pasts, and share a romance more meaningful than winning gold.

Written by the parent of a child with Type 1 diabetes.

Review
4/5
So Bryce is a teen who has made it to the Olympics. Well if he finishes his school work, according to his mom. He feels like he needs to prove he deserves to be there and is better than the #1 snowboarder. He sees Daria's picture in an article about teens in the Olympics and falls hard. Daria has already had so many struggles to get to where she is. SHe has to keep her nerves and past in check if she wants to win.

This was a very sweet book. Two teens who have so many struggles with health, trying to make it in the Olympics. They want to be taken seriously. Bryce and Daria hit it off quickly in the first kinda face to face meeting. I like how they are genuine with each other. I loved the characters. I loved that they had great supportive families. Usually these stories have kids with crappy parents. It was fun to imagine the Olympics from inside it and seeing teens experiencing it for the first time.

What happened to Ezra’s face? And why is she so attracted to the one boy in town everyone despises? As Ruby unravels her own powerful connections to both Ezra and the pueblo ruin, she’ll learn surfaces are deceiving. Especially in the heart of New Mexico, where ghosts and legends aren’t always just campfire stories.

Review

3.5/5

Ruby Brooks is 17 years and has just moved to new mexico with her aunt. They decided that ruby could use a new scene after losing her mother. Her first meet does not go well but she is in awe of the beauty. Ezra has had his own share of bad luck. His accident has left him physically and emotionally scared. Him and ruby become an unlikely pair.

Honestly it was a well written story. You felt like you were there without feeling like it was over described. I really didn't like Ezra, but that seems to be the normal male lead grows on you thing. Ruby grew into a brave, amazing person through the story. Definitely an interesting mix of history and supernatural.

Machiavellian Book Tour with Review and giveaway

Machiavellian
Bella Di Corte
(Gangsters of New York, #1)
Publication date: May 8th 2020
Genres: Adult, Romance, Suspense

I hungered to be seen.

There were three things I knew about Capo Macchiavello:

He was gorgeous.
He was reclusive.
He was considered one of New York’s most savage animals.

And he wanted me as his wife. A simple arrangement – you do for me, I do for you. Nothing owed, no expectations. Except for one: never leave.

Life was never that simple, though. By the age of twenty-one, I was parentless, jobless, and homeless, and I had come to learn the hard way that nothing was ever free. Even kindness comes with strings.

Capo might’ve been the only man to ever see me, but I had made a vow to myself: I would never owe anyone anything. Most of all, the man I called boss.

I killed to stay hidden.

Mariposa Flores thought she owed nothing to no one, but she owed everything…to me, the ghost the world had once called The Machiavellian Prince of New York.

Machiavellian is the first of three books set in the savage world of the Gangsters of New York series.

Author Bio:

Bella Di Corte has been writing romance for seven years, even longer if you count the stories in her head that were never written down, but she didn’t realize how much she enjoyed writing alphas until recently. Tough guys who walk the line between irredeemable and savable, and the strong women who force them to feel, inspire her to keep putting words to the page.

Apart from writing, Bella loves to spend time with her husband, daughter, and family. She also loves to read, listen to music, cook meals that were passed down to her, and take photographs. She mostly takes pictures of her family (when they let her) and her three dogs.

Bella grew up in New Orleans, a place she considers a creative playground.

She loves to connect with readers, so don’t hesitate to email her at belladicorte@gmail.com if you’d like to reach out.

Review

4/5

So Darlene is a snow leopard and now she has to take care of her brother who was turned into a chipmunk. She is able to get and Archangel to help her turn her brother back, but at a price. She has to rescue a little girl and go to the devil first. She has no time or patience for any of the crap she is having to deal with. She plans on taking on the Mafia and the dungeons of hell.

So I really liked the idea of all the Archangels and deities working together. It was interesting to see. Darlene deep down is a great character. She wants to do what's best for everyone and save them even at the expense of her soul. My problem is I feel like they were trying to hard to make her seem like this rebel heroine who just kicks butt and takes names. It was just to forcered. Everytime I seemed to start liking her it was just incesiant cursing. Like way more than was necessary to get the point and her character across. I liked the Archangels and Lucifer. Honestly I laughed so much reading this, it was really refreshing. It had serious and sweet moments, but also had moments that were broke with humor. I wonder if this book is supposed to be read in order because I had some questions I didn't feel received answers.
