Author Bio:

Alexandra Forry has an incredible talent for living vicariously through the colorful and intriguing escapades of her strong female characters and successful leading men. Her first book, “Omerta Affair,” based on the true story of mafia boss Tony Torino and his paramour Evelyn Rosenberg has recently been adapted and re-released as “Timeless Endings”–romance fiction. Her latest book, “Wildflower,” is an adventure in coming of age for both a young orphan and her repressed aunt who is trapped in a destructive marriage. It is a beautiful story of life, hope, growth, and triumph and deals with many of the traumas of youth, such as bullying.

Alexandra Forry is familiar with life’s challenges. She was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she lives with her loving grandparents. Alexandra has conquered the limitations of Cerebral Palsy to write exciting and engaging novels. She has completed a number of talks and internet book tours and is a member of the Las Vegas Romance Writers and RWA.

Interview

What inspired you to write your first book?

On one late summer night I decided to try my hand at writing a Fanfiction to the 1995 movie Casino, a short story on my interpretation of the Nicky and Ginger’s affair. Then I thought to take it forward a generation and let their children (Ginger’s daughter and Nicky’s son) sift through the intrigue that colored their parents’ lives. I called it, Journey to the Past: A Casino Fanfiction. I was spending all of my time researching and writing this Fanfiction. All of my family and friends just loved the story. By then I had three chapters on Fanfiction and a fourth chapter ready to go. My family felt it should continue in book form.

What books have most influenced your life most?
Lot’s of book’s that had made a major impact on my life. A few to name – Cullotta: The Life of a Chicago Criminal, Las Vegas Mobster and Government Witness by Dennis N. Griffin and Frank Cullotta, Casino, Love and Honor in Las Vegas by Nicholas Pileggi, Small Town Girl by LaVyrle Spencer, in fact anything by LaVyrle Spencer!!! J

How did you come up with the title?

I was on Google playing with worlds and somehow I came up with TIMELESS ENDINGS.

What was the hardest part of writing your book?

Finding time to write (LOL) well it depends on the scene. I really don’t like writing fighting scenes.

If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?
The parts in my book that reviewers called “stilted” and “childless” I would redo it in a heartbeat.

What are your current projects?

I am working on two books at the moment, another mafia romantic set in today's Las Vegas and Wildflower 2!
