My Review
3.8/5
So the story starts off a little slow and jumping around. Randir and Fendi are funny and remind me of my brothers. So the war starts and they gather many others to fight for their land. The are struggling to fight and recover the jewel and their princess. So I thought it was a good book. It wasn't to long and got to the point. Sometimes I  felt the story didn't really flow well but then other times it was great. By the end I was looking forward to reading the next book.

My Review
3.5/5
So they are headed to cut off some Vergai and they are attacked by pirates and they sink. But Fendi is rescued by the queen of the mermaids. She senses that he has a far greater purpose and offers her protection and help. Daeron is able to get visions of the queen and see where she is and what she is doing. He gets a vision that makes them believe that the elven jewel can be restored.
It was a great 2nd book. The story was a little slow moving. I felt it could have been a little shorter and still been good.
