Poster from church

Caleb didn't really want to play the apple letter matching game so we decorated a poster that the older kids made at church yesterday and gave us

 We glued on a picture of an apple to the front of our letter A file folder.

I gave him the colors yellow, green and red to color the apple in. I was so proud that he actually colored on the page and not on himself. He was so proud of his work

Finished with the gluing and we had fun. That was his first time using glue and he actually put it on the back of the pics.

Today we started on the letter A and It was so much fun. Caleb actually sat and did things and listened. The matching upper are lower case letters together was to much for him and he doesn't know how to use scissors but it was fun. Hoping to upload pictures soon.

Busy week

I haven't really got to work on school stuff much this week for caleb and I really need to. But my husband came home for 3 weeks before he leaves for a year so I decided that family time was more important. At least I am ready for next week and the letter A. We are going to learn about apples and got to an apple orchard. I am so excited I am even planing on trying to make applesauce with caleb with the apples we pick! We will see how it goes. Now back to planning week 3 we are going to learn about camping.

Saturday

Finished getting my first week of letter A stuff ready. Now I am working on letter B stuff. Going to go to the library next week so I can get some books that go with my weeks. Now I just need to find a place to get cheap printer ink so I can print off stuff for the rest of the year

I have been so blessed finding what I need on the internet. If it wasn't for Totally Tot and Home-school Creations and 2 Teaching mommies I would never have been able to finish everything for teaching Caleb

Calendar

So i finished my calendar and I am so excited. I just need to get some more Velcro tabs because I underestimated how many I would need. I cant wait to start teaching Caleb about what it is for and how to use it. Now I am working on doing some tot packs and picking themes for each week, which is hard.

Lazy sunday

Went to the park with my boys today. Haven't really done much prep for tot school but I have some time still. Now to do some cleaning because my house is a mess and I am going to work on a calendar. We will see how the night goes
